  • Breast Cancer Action Montreal (BCAM) A non-profit activist/advocacy group that believes that the focus of breast cancer research must move beyond its current emphasis on treatment to also embrace a serious search for the causes of the disease and its prevention.

  • Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment (CAPE) A national membership organization working to protect the environment in order to protect human health.

  • Canadian Environmental Law Association (CELA) A non-profit, public interest organization established to use existing laws to protect the environment and to advocate for environmental law reforms. It is also a free legal advisory clinic for the public.

  • The Canadian Partnership for Children’s Health and Environment (CPCHE) Is an affiliation of groups with overlapping missions to improve children's environmental health in Canada.

  • Conservation Council of Ontario We Conserve, a program of the CCO, is a cooperative effort to make Ontario a conserver society -- in saving energy, protecting nature, eliminating sprawl, and in reducing waste and preventing pollution.

  • Environmental Defence Inspires change by connecting people with environmental issues that affect their daily lives in their homes, workplaces and neighbourhoods.

  • Fashion Takes Action Fashion Takes Action is Canada's only non-profit organization that focuses on sustainability in the fashion industry. They work with both industry and the general public, with the goal to shift behaviour toward more positive social and environmental impacts.

  • Maternal-Infant Research on Environmental Chemicals A national five-year research study that recruited about 2,000 women from Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Sudbury, Ottawa, Kingston, Hamilton, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax. Sponsored by Health Canada, Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Ontario Ministry of the Environment.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW) Based in southwestern Ontario, this organization leads excellent research and advocacy regarding the environmental agents present in Ontario workplaces linked to chronic and terminal illnesses.

  • Ontario Clean Air Alliance The OCAA is a diverse, multi-stakeholder coalition of about 90 organizations. Its members include cities, health associations, environmental and public interest groups, public utilities, unions, faith communities and individuals.The OCAA's short-term goal is to achieve the complete phase-out of Ontario's four coal-fired power plants. Its long-term goal is to ensure that all of our electricity needs are met by ecologically sustainable renewable sources.

  • Ontario Environmental Network OEN is a non-profit, non-governmental network serving Ontario's environmental non-profit, non-governmental community. OEN seeks to increase awareness of these organizations and encourage discussions about means to protect the environment.

  • Ontario Women’s Health Network (OWHN) A great resource listing women’s organizations concerned with health around Ontario.

  • Physicians for Global Survival Canadian organization of physicians working on the connections between health, war and the environment.

  • Prevent Cancer Now Prevent Cancer Now's purpose it to build and sustain a Canada-wide movement that generates both the resolve and action required to eliminate preventable causes of cancer.

  • Saunders-Matthey Cancer Prevention Coalition A Canada-wide coalition of group working to promote cancer prevention awareness. Formerly the Breast Cancer Prevention Coalition.

  • Sierra Club of Canada The SCC mission is to develop a diverse, well-trained grassroots network working to protect the integrity of our global ecosystems; it has active chapters across Canada.

  • Shake Up the Establishment is a non-partisan, youth-led, registered organization that aims to make credible, evidence-informed information readily available to the Canadian population to promote informed voting, advocacy practices, and political accountability surrounding human and social justice issues that are exacerbated by the climate crisis.

  • Toronto Cancer Prevention Coalition For the first time ever, a group of prominent Toronto organizations, grassroots agencies and community members have developed an Action Plan to provide direction for awareness and change to stop cancer before it starts. As the largest group of its kind in North America, TCPC is working to implement the Action Plan, to change policy and standards and to mobilize public support to eliminate the underlying causes of cancer in Toronto.

  • Toronto Environmental Alliance TEA's mission is to promote a greener Toronto. TEA works with concerned individuals, community groups, professionals and workers, encouraging the participation of local people on local issues. TEA speaks on issues that shape the local environment and provides an activist voice on local Toronto issues.

  • The Toronto Renewable Energy Co-operative (TREC) Works on renewable energy and energy efficiency/conservation projects and educates Toronto citizens and visitors about renewable energy, energy efficiency/conservation and the community power model.

  • Trinity College Integrated Sustainability Initiative at the University of Toronto is an allied partner in the 2023/24 WTF Campaign and Fair.

  • Women’s College Hospital, Environmental Health Clinic A center of excellence in research and treatment of environmental illness, including advocacy for prevention.
